The life science Institute Pathophysiology Metabolism Nutrition (IT PMN) and the Translational research on diabetic cardiomyopathy Network are organizing a symposium on the heart-liver crosstalk in diabetic cardiomyopathy. It will be held in Paris on
March 27th December 4th, 2020 June, 2021.
The Translational research on diabetic cardiomyopathy Network has been set in 2019 with the aim to progress in the understanding of the mechanisms involved in the observed heart failure in type 2 diabetes patients, to develop novel strategies for the prevention and appropriate therapy.
The next symposium will focus on liver disorders and crosstalk with the heart. It will gather scientists and clinicians working in the fields of Diabetes, Cardiology and Hepatology with the goal to share their respective knowledge and get more insight into the pathophysiology of diabetic cardiomyopathy. The round table discussion will feed the writing of a collective review and give the basis for shared grant applications in the context of national or european calls for proposals.
