The Inserm Institutes based on cell biology, development, evolution and pathophysiology, metabolism, nutrition organized a one-day conference on medium and long term health of children conceived by Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART).
The conference presented the different current data on the follow-up of children conceived by ART, mainly by intraconjugal in vitro fertilization (IVF) / intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and on what is related to ART procedures or to other factors such as infertility of the parents. The ethical issues were also addressed. The conference will be composed of general and more specific lectures, led by international experts. A round table on questions raised and perspectives will close the day.
It is intended for a wide audience of researchers, clinicians and actors interested in this theme.
